Emanuel Citron

Manny is a Founder and Managing Partner at 67 Capital, where he serves on the Investment Committee.  Prior to 67, Manny formed the founding private equity team at SDCL focused on growth equity for energy efficiency. At SDCL, Manny was a member of the executive management team, served on five of SDCL’s committees, including on the PE Investment Committee, and a member of the Management, Risk & Compliance, Renumeration and Sustainability Committees, and continues to serve as a Director on SDCL’s Board. Emanuel was a co-founder and, for 6 years (2017-2023), the Managing Partner of Volery Capital, a growth equity firm focused on energy transition, which was sold to SDCL in Fall 2023. Prior to Volery, he was a Principal at Stone Point Capital (2005-2017). He has extensive private equity experience, including more than $3 billion of investments in growth businesses, and has led fundraisings and made introductions for capital raises totaling more than $15 billion. Before joining Stone Point, Emanuel was the CEO of a privately held internet business and an Analyst at Beacon Group (1998-2000). Emanuel holds a B.S. (magna cum laude) from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. (Palmer Scholar) from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
