Ellen Maginnis
Ellen is an Operating Partner at 67 Capital. She was previously a Partner at Volery, a member of the executive management team, chair of the Impact Committee, and member of the Investment Committee. Ellen has more than 15 years of experience working with companies and investors to develop performance management frameworks that support the improvement of social and environmental impact. She has worked with clients ranging from billion-dollar funds to small social-enterprises to integrate ESG considerations, develop impact strategies, align to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and establish impact KPI dashboards. She has helped develop various impact standards including IRIS+, the IFC’s Operating Principles for Impact Management, and UNDP’s SDG Impact Standards. Previously, Ellen spent 3 years at the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) where she led the development and promotion of IRIS+. Prior, she spent 9 years with PwC working on international development and sustainability issues with organizations across Africa, the Middle East and Europe. Ellen holds an M.A. (magna cum laude) in Applied Economics and a B.A. in Economics and Mathematical Sciences (cum laude) both from Johns Hopkins University.
